Gold-Drip Animal Decor

Paper mache animal busts are super popular right now. They're simple, elegant and modern wall decor and can be the added touch to almost any room. But can run up to $179! Like this one from West Elm:

I decided to make my own decorative animal art but I added a little touch of gold to mine :)

For this project you'll need the following:

+ Surebonder's 7" electric glue skillet

+ Krylon white satin spray paint

+ Animal bust or skull (any animal of your choosing; I picked a cow skull)

+ Surebonder's Glitter Stiks

First, spray paint the animal skull white. (It may need a few coats, depending on how dark the coloring of the skull is)

Next take only the gold glue sticks from the package.

Turn on the electric skillet and add the gold glue sticks.

(TIP: CUT THE GLUE STICKS INTO SMALLER PIECES FOR EASIER MELTING)

Disclaimer: Make sure to use this skillet in a well ventilated area, as smoking may occur at a high heat.

Finally take the skillet and pour the glue over the skull.
